Most imports go wrong in the same ways: duplicates, people with no company, and odd columns that do not fit. Bizora handles each of them and tells you what it did.

Where your list lives now
How to import customers from what you use today.
From Excel
Open your customer list and choose File, Save As, then CSV UTF-8. Older Excel files saved as plain CSV work too: Bizora fixes the encoding so names like Zoë and café come across correctly.
From Google Sheets
Open the sheet and choose File, Download, then Comma-separated values (.csv). If your customers are spread over several tabs, download and import each tab in turn.
From Outlook or Google Contacts
Export your contacts as a CSV file from Outlook or Google Contacts. Bizora recognises their column names, such as Business Street, Business Postal Code and Email 1 Value, so most columns match on their own.
From another CRM
HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Capsule, Salesforce and most other CRMs can export contacts or companies as a CSV, usually from an Export option on the contacts list or in settings. Export people with their company name, then upload the file to Bizora.
From your head, a notebook or your phone
No list at all? Start with the ten customers you deal with most and add them by hand, which takes a few minutes. Or type them into the Bizora template in Excel or Google Sheets and import it.

How long does it take to switch to Bizora?
For most small businesses, a few minutes. Signing up takes a minute, and importing a CSV is three steps: upload, match your columns and review. Larger or messier lists take a little longer to tidy before you upload.
What can I import?
Companies and contacts: company name, email, phone, website and address, and each person’s name, job title, email, phone and mobile. Any other column can be kept as a custom field.
Can I import deals, notes, call history or files?
Not with the importer, which brings in companies and contacts. A short notes column can come across as a custom field of up to 500 characters. Files can be uploaded to each company, and deals and follow-ups added as you go.
What happens to duplicates?
Companies with the same name are matched to the company already in Bizora rather than added again. A person already at that company, matched by email or by name, is skipped. The review step lists every skipped row and the reason.
Does every contact need a company?
Yes. In Bizora every person belongs to a company, so your file needs a company name column. For sole-trader customers, use their own name or business name as the company.
Is there a size limit?
Each file can have up to 5,000 rows and be up to 2 MB. Split a bigger list into several files and import them one after another. Your plan’s company and contact allowance also applies, and Bizora tells you before importing if a file would go over it.
Can I undo an import?
Nothing is saved until you confirm on the review screen, so check the counts and the skipped rows there first. After importing, records can be edited or deleted like any others.
Who can import?
Workspace Owners and Team Moderators. Team Members can view and use the records once they are in.
Can I get my data out again?
Yes. Export your companies and contacts to CSV whenever you like, on every plan.
Does it cost anything to switch?
No. Importing is included on every plan, including Free, which holds up to 250 companies and 250 contacts with no card needed.
